Naya Goreto (NG) is an independent non-governmental organization registered in August 2003 in Kathmandu District Administration Office; and affiliated with Social Welfare Council of Nepal. It is established with a specific vision – “creating a welfare society”- where all people are treated with respect and can achieve their quality of life. NG largely serves Key Population of society who are in ne

ed, especially People Who Inject Drug (PWID), People Living With HIV (PLHIV), TB/HIV Co-infected, Children infected/affected by AIDS, and others At risk population regardless of age, gender, ethnic, socio-economic and geographic background. From its establishment to date, NG has majority of key population in both Board of Directories and project management echoing the principle of lead by; work by/for key population. The greater and meaningful involvement of this group in NG itself enhanced key population’s sense of connectedness, belonging and valued participation; and thereby garnered commitment to make NG’s vision a reality.
