Yasmin Chaudhary and Seniwa Nemabang are forestry students at Pokhara Campus. While pursuing their studies, the idea of Buneko as a business was introduced.

Modern products have a maximum usage of plastics which has resulted in the replacement of indigenous, arts, and crafts. If this process continues, the upcoming generation won’t know the value that these arts and crafts hold. Buneko is trying to promote the depleting status of arts and crafts value in the Chaudhary community by exploring the potential market.

Fruits start sprouting in March and April
Uses: Ghee obtained from the fruits are used in cooking, lamps, preparing lotions etc. Fruits are also used for alcoholic distillation

A Nepali tribe; Chepang is highly bonded with this tree as they consider the tree as parental property and even give as dowry to the married daughters.
