Izon Science

Izon Science Izon Science is the world leading manufacturer of nano-biological separation and characterisation too

Izon's TRPS measurement and qEV isolation systems are in use in a growing number of leading universities and research institutions around the world, and in over 55 countries. Size-tunable nanopore-based detection provides a revolutionary non-optical approach to particle measurement. The size, concentration, interactions and charge of particles can be detected with individual particle resolution. I

zon is advancing research in a wide range of fields which require accurate particle characterization, including: drug delivery research (drug delivery particles & liposomes), haematology (exosomes & microparticles), and virus quantitation and analysis (gene therapy vectors, viral vaccines).

Big news from us this week!

Meet the Pulsoid: a new nanoparticle measurement system built around a precision-engineered, solid-state chip-based nanopore, delivering high-resolution, single-particle analysis in a fast, streamlined workflow.

For years, nanoparticle characterisation has meant choosing between analytical resolution and operational simplicity.
High-resolution, single-particle measurements required complex setup and specialist expertise. Simpler techniques delivered averaged data – and limited insight.

The Pulsoid removes that compromise.

Highlights:
🔹Single-particle size, concentration and zeta potential measurements
🔹Exceptionally accurate size measurement
🔹High-throughput, easy-to-learn workflow

Initially optimised for lipid nanoparticle researchers, the Pulsoid enables subtle formulation and stability-related changes to be monitored quickly and with clarity.

Beyond this initial focus, its underlying methodology – Nanopore Pulse Sensing (NPS) – supports a broader range of nanoparticle research wherever detailed insight into size, concentration and charge is required.

This is just the beginning. We look forward to seeing how researchers put the Pulsoid to work and extend its impact across new nanoparticle applications.
