Hello Valued Clients, Past and Present

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past 20 years. I have genuinely loved engaging and supporting all of you and have developed some ever-lasting friendships because of our connection.

I am wanting to inform you of some significant changes. I have recently been presented with an extremely exciting opportunity to join one of my clients in a Director of People & Culture position. They are a rapidly growing tech company with huge ambitions, and they would like me to help them realise those ambitions.

i-Recruit & HR has experienced considerable growth over the past few years, and it was coming to the point of needing to expand when this offer came along. The offer has certainly rocked my world, but after considerable deliberations and talking with my trusted advisors, I have decided to take a leap of faith and move forward with the offer.

I will be working with the NZ, USA and Thailand operations and have the opportunity to effect real change from the inside, which is very appealing to me.

To ease the transition for many of you (and for those I have not yet managed to speak with), I have been in discussions with another company that would warmly welcome you and continue the support you need. In order for me to transition, I will no longer be taking on work from this point, rather just completing my current commitments. I am due to start full-time in my new role at the end of August 2022.

New Zealand’s unemployment rate hit a low of 3.2% in the fourth quarter of 2021 and again in the first quarter of this year. That’s the lowest the rate has been since at least 1986, both overall and separately for men (3.1% in both quarters) and women (3.3% in both quarters). Find out more below.
