🏆 Member Project of the Year 2026
Presented at our 2026 Member Awards Gala Dinner, Project of the Year celebrates the standout work our members delivered this year, across two categories.

🏆 $500k+: Cassidy-Davies Electrical (sponsored by PDL Trade)
Cassidy-Davies' work on Kōawa Studios at the University of Canterbury covered virtual production, motion capture, sound recording and post-production spaces, backed by kilometres of cabling and specialist infrastructure. It's big, technical and a little out of the ordinary, and a project they'll be proud to say "we did that" about for years to come.

🏆 Up to $500k: Astech Electrical Ltd (sponsored by Signify)
Astech designed and delivered an off-grid PV system for a remote Bay of Islands property that's only accessible by boat or barge. Every component was planned, shipped and unloaded by barge, and a custom-built controller ties the solar, battery and generator together, monitored remotely. The result has been transformative for the client.

Congratulations to both teams, and thanks to Signify and PDL Trade for sponsoring these awards 👏

Astech Electrical leads by example. They've backed Katipolt across their whole business and helped other members get on board too. They show up in full force, back our initiatives, bring new members into the group, and give honest feedback that makes us better.

Most importantly, they're hard-working good bu**ers who set the standard for others. Congratulations to the whole Astech team, you've earned this one! 👏
