The site and its buildings are steeped in history – there's even reference to grapes being grown at Como Villa in a local newspaper in 1875. At Como Villa, we are proud of this past and our wine tasting venue is a restored stone house built in 1865 which is full of Central Otago history - this is why Como Villa is called a vineyard and museum. We are

open to the public and specialise in excellent Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé wines.

After an incredible summer of selling wine , writing History books , and socialising with our meany clients we are closing the winery/Museum until the 1 st of October 26 ,for a break and maintenance of this precious Historical property ,, you can’t have a future/ unless you preserve the past. A fantastic book launch of 'Thomas Oliver - A Man of His Time and The Legacy He Left Behind 1835-1908' compiled by John and Pam Chapman with Wayne Stark.

The event was held at Central Stories Museum Alexandra and was attended by 130 people.

50 books signed on the night.

Thank you so much for all those who attended and enjoyed Como Villa Pinot Noir and Rose 2022. Special thanks to Paula and Wayne.
