Here's the advantage us small business owners have over big business/ corporates

🚣‍♀️ You're a small boat

You get to make adjustments that can turn things around fast.

THIS is what I've said to three clients this week
1. You need to rework your pricing and charge more.
2. You need to better define whom you are selling to
3. You need to make it really clear what you are offering

As small business owners we are nimble. We can make a change and see results within a few weeks. We don't answer often to boards, or have to report to a team and get sign off.

It's our biggest strength
It can also be our biggest weakness (there is such a thing as too much change!)

If a corporate biz makes a mistake it's millions of dollars down the drain, job losses, and the pain of getting that huge creaking ship on another course. So much energy for that!

If you are not getting enough of the right leads or customers - something's got to change. Because it's not because people are stupid, or dumb. It's that you've not best described who you are, what you do best, and how you'll meet their needs.

In fact I kinda love it if you don't.
In fact you can hate it
Think it's manipulative and icky
Not rate your own ability to do it
Want to avoid it at all costs
Can be angry you have to even do it in the first place
Because I've felt EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE THINGS TOO at some point
And still sometimes do
And I still know how to get you excited about the power of marketing for your business
I have ways of getting us to break down some of those blocks together
Of finding the simplest and most powerful path for you to take
I don't do one size fits all - Yes I have systems and processes but you and me? We adapt them together to make them fit your business, your
I have only TWO rules
You don't need to love marketing to work with me
But - you do have to both trust me AND do the work
Warning - often this does lead to learning to love marketing despite yourself

It's never been easier to write words
Or at least have them written for us

A few prompts
A Desperate ask
And our AI vehicle of choice spits them out, faster than we can read them

It's never been easier to write words
It's never been harder to make those words remembered and noticed

I'm a heavy user of AI
We use it in almost every client session I have

But not until we've done work in our heads
And found our voice.

AI only gives you back to the depth of what you give it
(and like all lazy interns sometimes a lot less!)

So if you give it another person's prompt
If you don't know how your brand should sound
if you haven't stopped and mapped out the very humanness of your business that people are craving to find and select

If you can't hear the unique voice of yourself and identify it...

Easy become WASTE.

Because it's pointless to create fast and furiously
And then get no results besides a lovely big endorphin hit.

My job is to help you define the voice people will associate with you
And your business

We don't shy away from AI
But we lead it
Instead of feeding it fastfood scraps
