KiwiSaver contributions are changing! From 1 April 2026, the minimum KiwiSaver contribution rate will increase to 3.5% (currently at 3%). What does that mean for you? Employees will automatically move to a 3.5% contribution rate, and employers will need to match that rate. Starting 1 February, you can apply for a Temporary Rate Reduction, which will allow you to stay at the 3% rate for a limited time if you want to. We have partnered with Coffee Culture and The Fine Lion and bought our team hot drinks & in return our lovely baristas have donated to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
