✔ Work Experience Requirement
You must have worked in an approved care role in New Zealand for at least 24 months, within the 30 months immediately before applying.

✔ Eligible Roles May Include:
• Aged or Disabled Carer
• Nursing Support Worker
• Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
• Disability Services Officer
• Residential Care Officer
• Healthcare / Support Worker roles
(or other similar recognised care roles)

✔ Employer Requirement
You must have a job or job offer from an Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer.

✔ Age Requirement
Applicants must be 55 years old or younger at the time of application.

✔ English Language Requirement
You must meet the required English standard.

✔ Pay Rate Requirement
Your wages must meet or exceed the Care Workforce residency pay threshold, generally aligned with rates under the
Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlements Act 2017.
