The Barnett Offshore “Hikapu Hunter” has been repowered with a powerful Yanmar 6LF550, delivering 550HP at 3000 RPM. This 10m aluminium vessel is now cruising comfortably at 24 knots, with a top speed of 38 knots - ready for many more offshore adventures.

A big shoutout to our trusted Yanmar Marine dealer, Marine Diesel Services Tauranga, who completed the installation. The vessel performed exceptionally well during sea trials, and the owner is looking forward to many successful fishing trips with a new, reliable power plant.
