Consultation on fisheries in the Hauraki/Coromandel region, plse share

*CONSULTATION* We’re inviting feedback on proposed changes to recreational fishing rules for the Auckland and Coromandel area.

The proposals address ongoing community concerns about harvest pressure and the sustainability of shellfish and other marine life found in rocky shore areas and rock pools.

Fisheries New Zealand invites submissions from people who have an interest in these coastal areas and the marine life found there.

Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) is seeking Registrations of Interest to facilitate the transition of a Mātauranga Māori Project into an independent entity that can operate separately of GWRC. Mauri Tūhono is a Mātauranga Taiao kaupapa that focuses on reconnecting people to te taiao anywhere and everywhere through the Wellington Region. GWRC is looking for a supplier who is able to embody and enact the kaupapa in the services required in the establishment of the independent entity and its governance structure.

MSD manages and occupies a large, geographically spread, national property portfolio (primarily leased) and is seeking to engage a Strategic Property Development Partner to:

• Support the delivery of MSD’s property portfolio pipeline.

• Work as a preferred partner with the MSD to identify and propose suitable service centre sites (new builds or existing redevelopments).

• Provide development or existing premises options as required that are aligned to MSD’s building specifications.

• Improve consistency, planning, and delivery of MSD’s property pipeline.

• Add value through collaboration and commercial terms that reflect a long-term partnership.

The Ministry intends to undertake a two-stage procurement approach with the ROI issued in mid-April.
