It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that we announce the cancellation of next month’s Southside Beats concert.
Southside Beats has weathered 3x postponements since it’s original scheduled date of early 2021 due to predominantly the impact of COVID, with each rescheduled date enduring significant costs as well as ticket refunds for those unable to make the new dates.
We were committed and determined to see this event through despite COVID trying to stop us to support our events industry, to support and showcase our incredible lineup of local Māori and Pāsifika artists, and to bring a special event to a part of Tāmaki Makaurau we are truly proud of in South Auckland, but unfortunately, the impact of these unavoidable date changes requires us to make the difficult decision to cancel the event.
To our ticket holders that stuck with us across these rescheduled dates over this challenging time, we are truly thankful for your support, flexibility and understanding. We are incredibly grateful for your shared commitment to also want to see this event through. Refunds will be processed over the coming days via Eventfinda.
