How do you 'pivot' your business when you lost all your income through the lockdown?

That is what happened to David Nottage, my client and friend three weeks ago.

But four weeks ago, David’s diary was booked out for the whole year with speaking engagements, corporate training and gigs where he was MC’ing big stages.

All that changed with COVID-19. All his events, training engagements and speaking slots were cancelled with the lock down.

Despite being a World Championship of Public Speaking for Toastmasters International and just been awarded the Educator of the Year 2020, David had to quickly pivot and adopt to protect his business.

David has been on our PivotYourBiz program since March and we been working together on his business continuity strategy, marketing as well as transforming his group coaching to an online platform and systemising the customer onboarding and automating the service delivery.

Today, David ran a LIVE virtual training webinar in front of 85 people who watched David pack a 35 minute session full of Tips, Tricks and Techniques to improve our online presence, especially now that we are communicating more and more in the virtual world. It was a huge success. I am so pleased for David.

From today onwards, many businesses are paying for their lease whilst not being able to occupy it. If you have a commercial lease with a landlord, (Or even you are the property owner), remember we are in this together. Try to negotiate a fair outcome.
