Have you ever seen a w**e bottle sealed in a wax cork before? 🍷

As the practice of traditional French w**emaking is at the heart of everything at Frenchmans Hill, we preserve our premium w**e bottles with traditional waxed cork for the highest quality.

In addition, w**e would leak out and oxygen would sneak in, harming the w**e, so wax was used to create a stronger, more airtight seal, particularly for bottles meant for long aging. Sealing wax allows the bottle to hold for decades without the need to re-cork the w**e.
