And to find out that this nomination story was recognised as one of the Top 5 Stories from the 2026 Top 100 Auckland Iconic Eats made this even more special.

From day one, our goal was never just to make another pie. We wanted to create something that represented the Auckland we know and love, diverse, multicultural, and proudly shaped by different cultures and stories.

A classic Kiwi pie, reimagined through the flavours we grew up with. What started as comfort food for us has now become comfort food for many Aucklanders, and that’s something we’ll never take for granted.

This recognition means so much because it came from the people. The customers who recommend us to their mates, bring their families in, and continue supporting a small local business every single day.
