For Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori I went looking for kupu that had some connection to what Take Up Space is about.

I wanted the kupu for the entrepreneurs, the risk-takers, the ones backing themselves and doing things differently.

And I found these.

I’ve sourced these from Te Aka Māori Dictionary and cross-checked rakahinonga with Paekupu — but reo has context, nuance and layers that a dictionary can’t always give us.

So to my reo speakers - would you use these kupu this way?

Are there nuances I’ve missed? Or even better kupu you’d use to describe the bold, unapologetic, risk-taking energy of entrepreneurship?
