One of my highlights of 2022 - when AWWA was recognised in the Deloitte Fast 50 index as one of the fastest growing companies in the country!

This tells us that hell yes Aotearoa wants a more sustainable way to manage their periods and hell yes we wanna be more connected to our cycle! We could not have done this without every incredible loyal AWWA customer! The people who come up to me on the street and show me your un**es 😭🤣 to show off your AWWA - the messages of how AWWA has changed the life and the way in which you view yourself and your body - this is why I do what I do!

I am currently CEO and Marketing Director for AWWA Period Care. Yes, two pretty massive roles but this is the reality of small business! We are Aotearoa's period underwear company, inspired by traditional Māori attitudes towards ikura (periods). ⁠

The growth of AWWA has been incredible and in the last year we achieved BCorp certification, a placing on the Deloitte Fast 50 and won Westpac Best Emerging Business (North/West Region). Proof that when you put your mind to something, you can achieve anything!
