𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮

Because every great New Zealand journey starts with a quiet moment looking at your children and wondering how to give them a safer, brighter future. 🇳🇿❤️

If you’ve been spending your late nights scrolling through endless forums, feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice and the sheer weight of responsibility, take a deep breath. You are not alone. Wanting to secure a stable home, protect your family’s legacy, or finally reunite with loved ones is a profound act of love. But when your family’s future is on the line, leaving their tomorrow to chance—or to trial-and-error—is a heavy risk you shouldn't have to carry alone.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

At 𝐍𝐙𝐈𝐇𝐒, we believe that taking care of your family's future means refusing to guess your way through your move. A visa isn't just paperwork; it’s the foundation of your children's education, your career stability, and your peace of mind.

Trying to figure it out alone can lead to costly delays, rejections, and—worst of all—precious months or years kept apart from the people you love. 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Navigating New Zealand immigration rules can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, especially with the upcoming updates to the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC).

If you are eyeing the 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟒 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, here is a simple breakdown of how the requirements are shifting:

🔄 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠?

Current Rules: To qualify via work experience, you generally need to hit a 6-point threshold factoring in a mix of income, formal qualifications, and professional registrations.

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝟐𝟒 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔): Immigration New Zealand is introducing a more direct experience-based route. You may be eligible if you meet these criteria:

Have a job or job offer in an ANZSCO Skill Level 1 to 3 occupation.

Earn at least 1.1 times the SMC Median Wage (NZD $38.50/hour or an annual salary of NZD $80,080/year).

Have at least 5 years of total relevant work experience in an ANZSCO Level 1 to 3 occupation.

Of those 5 years, at least 2 years must be skilled work experience completed in New Zealand while paid at or above that 1.1× median wage threshold.
