🐾 Breed of the Week: Japanese Chin 🐾

Elegant, charming, and full of personality, the Japanese Chin is often described as the "cat" of the dog world.

These little dogs are known for their graceful movements, expressive eyes, and independent nature. They're intelligent, affectionate, and love spending time with their people, often choosing the comfiest spot in the house to keep a watchful eye on everything going on.

Originally bred as companions for Japanese nobility, Japanese Chins have been winning hearts for centuries with their gentle temperament and quirky personalities.

Fun Fact:
Japanese Chins are famous for something called the "Chin Spin" — a cute little trick where they spin around on their back legs when excited. ❤️

Despite their royal history, most Japanese Chins are perfectly happy with a cuddle on the couch and being the centre of attention.

Turbo sees a leash and decides he’s taking himself to the groomers.

This week's star is the lovely Lucky. ❤️

Lucky has been a loyal part of the Angels family for many years and is one of our wonderful CareClub members.

This visit was extra special because Lucky was getting all dressed up for a wedding. Looking this fabulous, we're sure there will be plenty of compliments on the big day. ✨

We're also incredibly grateful for Lucky's wonderful owner, who surprised our team with cakes on their last visit. Such a thoughtful gesture, and very much appreciated by the team.

It's clients like these who make what we do so special.

Not only is she absolutely adorable, but she's also one of the gentlest, happiest little dogs you could hope to meet.

Watching her strut out of the salon looking and feeling her best always makes us smile.

Despite their glamorous names, both cats are actually male. Cara calls them her "drag queen cats" because they're so fabulous everyone assumes they're female. 👑
