April's newsletter is here!!!
I'm turning 62 later this month. 🥳 And it's got me thinking – not in a heavy way… more a “wow... how did we get here?” kind of way.

And here’s what I realised… We don’t ever really “arrive”. The joy is in the 'getting there'. And maybe… just maybe… we need to learn to just 'BE'.

I also share a little story about Mick… who has mastered the art of thinking about absolutely nothing. 😂

Today was a breakthrough day for me learning how to create online content to sell.

To see the path ahead, have the right tools for it, then create the plan feels great!!

Having my darling friend (in pic) Catherine Newton walk me through step by step, flexing to my changing learning styles (4 seasons in one day!) and gently coaxing me to help me achieve what I need to do was miraculous.

As i finish 2024 it would be remiss not to thank you who have made it such a special year.
Mick who is my best friend and 3rd true love. My gorgeous daughter Bayleigh Scott-Sauni who is my best teacher and 2nd true love after God. My sister Caro Watts who is my mentor both spiritually and in life. My brother Johnny Scott who is the best drummer in NZ and a beautiful soul.
Special friends who came to shows/concerts/brunches/lunches/dinners with me, those who celebrated my 60th with me, those who watched my stories or read my newsletters, those who have taught me and those who have loved me, despite me! Especially Jesus who is my constant companion and gentle teacher always unveiling pieces of me still needing work.
Here's to all that we can be grateful for in 2024, and to all that we will be grateful for in 2025!!

25 years ago I was blessed with my business The Great Scott Co , and ever since I don't feel like I've 'worked' because when you're given a passion it all flows. I've been able to get off 'Hustle Mountain' and into the 'River of abundance' and we attract the right clients in! I run the business by faith because as the old saying goes, "If you want to make God laugh tell Him your plans!"
We get clients coming back over and over, we've had some beautiful friendships from those clients and been able to grow people, in their customer service, sales, telemarketing and leadership roles, whilst also helping teams to work better together, with endless success stories.
I am so grateful to God for His gift and for all He's done through what we do...and to our orecious clients who were drawn to us in the 1st place!
Here's to the next 25 years!!

It's The Great Scott Company's 24th anniversary and what a ride its been!!
Through the last 24 years we've thrived through the 2008 recession and Covid which enabled (forced) us to move online...and threaded in-between have been so many highlights - from getting our 1st clients to winning big contracts to working with the most amazing people throughout - both clients and colleagues. I have loved EVERY minute if it. Waking up each day saying 'thank you God' and pinching myself that this is my life that I get to live each day has been awesome . Being a steward of this biz has been a huge honour, with God as my boss.
Thank you to my Sub Contractors who have always brought their A game, and to you our clients who have made this business what it is. Here's to the next 24!!
