"The World Works Better With Us." 💜 That's the theme for Disability Pride Month 2026, and we think it's a pretty straightforward claim. When disabled and neurodivergent people are genuinely included, respected and supported, workplaces perform better for everyone.

July is Disability Pride Month - a chance to celebrate disabled and neurodivergent people for who they are, and the very real contribution they make every day.

At NZDEN we get to see what that looks like across our members. Stronger, more innovative and capable teams for employers, and work that people can do well, grow in, and want to stay in.

We'd love to know - how is your organisation marking Disability Pride Month this year? Tell us in the comments, and we'll celebrate your mahi through our channels.

Image description: Dark charcoal grey background with centred text that reads "Disability Pride Month 2026" in small grey letters, with the theme "The World Works Better With Us" below in large white and yellow lettering. Diagonal stripes in the Disability Pride flag colours (red, gold, white, blue and green) run across the top-right and bottom-left corners. Along the bottom edge is a colourful illustration showing the legs and feet of a diverse group of people standing and seated together, including a person in a wheelchair, people with prosthetic legs, and a person using a walking stick, in a range of clothing, footwear and skin tones. The New Zealand Disability Employers' Network logo sits in the bottom-right corner.
