2025 Takapuna Winter Lights.
Our Hurstmere Road upgrade project was designed to help facilitate wonderful events like the Takapuna Winter Lights. The upgrade successfully transformed a formerly tired, vehicle-dominated and low amenity street into a revitalised open, vibrant beachside retail destination that is focused on people and place. It is a showcase of a street that has been successfully retrofitted for flexibility and truly designed as a space that is first and foremost for people not cars. During the Takapuna Winter Lights the street becomes a bright and playful public space celebrating light, music, art and performance.
Make sure you get to the 2025 Takapuna Winter Lights on Thursday, 24 July to Sunday, 27 July 2025.
