Sisterhood of Style NZ PERSONAL STYLIST Helping you to where what you love, more often 💕 My mission is to help build confidence through style. Let me help you :-)

I work with clients who need wardrobe editing, to go shopping in their wardrobe, personal shopping services, workshops on style and any combo they might need. I am a busy working mum of two kids and appreciate that we all lead busy lives – kids or not. At the heart of what I do, is building confidence in women, so you can get on with the fun of living - every day. Style doesn't need to be confusing, it can be a bundle of fun if you let it.

has me raiding my wardrobe library and these pants have been on my hit list to sell or revive.

They’re too long and oversized even for me. Plus barrel and balloon shape trousers are my spirit animal/pant shape so I wanted to give that a whirl and see if I liked the look. 👀

Done in 20 seconds using my arm garters I’ve been convinced to give them another life as balloon legs. Off to the tailor I go.

What’s in your wardrobe you can adapt this winter?

Style Notes: all old wardrobe repeat wears. cos jumper & pants, adidas Aotearoa New Zealand trainers, New Zealand made clothing polo neck.

Styling is a long game that you can’t lose. You can only make mistakes you won’t repeat. But the gold medal is when it all comes together and your mood and confidence soars.

Giving yourself permission to play with what you have, bringing a look together can be a wonderful gift 🎁. It’s time for you, about you and for you.

What’s a combo of old and new pieces you can try today? What can you accessorise with?

The schleppiest, cosiest, most comforting outfit I could muster for a night away by the beach with some girlfriends. My house is full of boys again, so this feels decadent.
Style Story witchery jeans, Birkenstock slides, Royal Merino and Kmart knit hoody scarf (thanks for the recommendation Anna Everlasting

The reason for the season is FLEXIBILITY. Buying pieces that mean you can walk the dog then head to work.

You don’t need two separate wardrobes for “weekend wear” or “work wear” when you have pieces that can traverse both.

Style Story Lola Pants, gorman (old) gilet, rugby shirt, slides / Zara Blazer (old), & necklaces

My spirit print is Leopard Print 🐆

Here’s what I know to be true:

🐆 Not all Leopard Print is good l Leopard Print. Be picky.
🐆It’s a neutral.
🐆It comes in and out of style according to media, but I say it’s always in if you love it.

Scissors ✂️ are my crafting love language and when I saw what did with denim, I was hooked.

I’ve always loved quirky pieces, little details that make the styling personal. This Denim belt idea had me at hello.

It took 5 minutes and probably some terrible chopping to “make”. The lesson learnt on this project was that if I continue to craft with ✂️ then I need proper sewing ones and some fabric weights. But that’s for another day.

Ok, what’s your verdict…would you try this? Another moment.

In a reel that could probably have been an email, I go to great lengths to share how I ironed on some patches to an old blazer.

June really is turning out to be a stunner of a month with and it’s inspiring me to get my craft on.

Anyhoo, this is 1 minute and a bit you won’t get back but I do hope it inspires you to try a bit of DIY, especially if you’re like me and DIY-non savvy. Thanks to for the inspiration.
