Happy Easter from ITEAM to you all! Here's a glimpse of Lion Rock taken under the sunset at Piha Beach, Auckland New Zealand. Popular for its strong waves, it was the birthplace of NZ's board riding in 1958. 'Te Piha' means the divided ripple at the bow of the canoe which the waves breaking around the rock were likened to. Originally called 'Piha', the rock was later named 'Lion Rock'.
