Specialist Firestop Contractors was formed to meet the growing need in the New Zealand construction industry for efficient, competent, passive firestop installations. We are members of FPANZ, The Fire Protection Association of New Zealand. All our applicators are dedicated firestop installers, and are all site safe certified. Although we can be engaged during any stage of the construction process,
we highly recommend getting in contact as early as possible. By talking to the trades that will be penetrating your fire seperations we can usually identify potential problems and decide on solutions for them before they become issues later in a build. Before any installations start we make sure that systems and products to be used are first approved by clients and/or the Fire Engineering firm they use. We mark up plans, create a schedule of works, label our installations, photograph our work, and provide data/methodology/test reports.
