📢 Official Update from Immigration New Zealand – Open Work Visas 🇳🇿

Immigration New Zealand has announced changes to the employment conditions for open work visa holders, effective 20 April 2026.
Key Points from INZ (for information only):

1️⃣ Open Work Visas Allowing Any Work
Work for any employer
Sole trade or operate a business
Applies to partners of workers or students, post-study work visas, and partners of New Zealand citizens

2️⃣ Open Work Visas Requiring Work for an Employer
Must work under an employment agreement or contract for services
Cannot employ others or run a business as the owner
Cannot provide commercial sexual services or invest in related businesses

Transition: Existing visa holders can continue under current conditions until their visa expires.

👉 May 47 bagong skilled occupations na idinagdag sa National Occupation List (NOL).

⚠️ MAY MGA JOBS NA NA-RECLASSIFY SA SKILL LEVEL 4
Ang mga sumusunod na trabaho ay binaba sa Skill Level 4:

👉 Kapag Skill Level 4:
• Kailangan ng English language requirement
