Accounts and Office Administrator
We are looking for an experienced Office and Accounts Administrator/Manager to provide support to the Dispatcher and Director of our Transporting and Automotive Parts businesses, delivering a range of administration functions, accounting, and payroll.
The position includes creditor management, debtor management, and finance reconciliations at our Albany-based office as well as payroll preparation.
You need to be a good finance and office admin “allrounder”. If you are accountable, dependable, responsible, very detailed, loves figures, have integrity, are trustworthy, respectful, a collaborator, friendly and hold high values this job may be for you. All Staff at this business are fully Vaccinated for Covid 19 and this is a requirement of any new employee.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Understanding of accounting / ie: Xero, debits, credits, AR, AP, budgets etc.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft, email, internet
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including financial formula, auditing functions, lookup functions, and data analysis preferred but not essential.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Have Experience with Xero Payroll and have a good understanding of NZ legislation in regard to payroll and leave entitlement calculations.
Human Relations
• Good interpersonal skills including written and oral communication ability to an acceptable standard
• Demonstrated ability to produce succinct, practical, and effective management reports and correspondence
• Negotiation skills including conflict resolution
