This evening I was sorting through memorabilia from my time as a Specialist Fi****ms Officer with the Metropolitan Police SO19.
I found this print of two operators from my old unit, the original hangs on the wall at the team base.
Only five minutes earlier I’d come across Tom Brady’s words on an Instagram post and upon picking up the print I drew an instant connection between the two.
“You don’t have to be special, you just have to be what most people aren’t.... consistent, determined and willing to work for it.”
The people I served alongside? They were all of that and more.
That unit forged everything I bring to Trojan Investigations & Security today; the discipline, the dedication, the pursuit of excellence.
Those principles didn’t start with SO19. But they were sharpened there, shaped by the people around me and the demands of the role.
They are now the founding principles of every case we take on and every client we serve. A standard I refuse to drop.
