HCRC is run by the 'Helensville Enterprises Trust', providing recycling & waste management services. It was originally founded in 2007 by volunteers, and is now run under community based management. It provides employment opportunities for locals, supports local businesses with sales & providing a recycling pickup service, helping to further reduce the amount of Helensville waste going to landfill.

General information

The 'Helensville Community Recycling Centre' accepts recyclables such as plastic/glass bottles, cardboard & paper, scrap metal & white-ware free of charge. Items suitable for re-sale can be donated to the second-hand shop. General rubbish, e-waste, green waste & demolition materials are also accepted at cost. *The site does not accept hazardous waste or any materials containing asbestos*.
