Our free Sustainable Urban Living series is back!

On Saturday mornings spend a few hours picking up useful sustainability tips for your home and garden. Our first three workshops are:

🌱 Growing Vegetables & Fruit Trees in Small Spaces - 17 April

If you’re looking for a new podcast ...’How to Save the World’ is a goodie (NZ based) with lots of great info to help you live more sustainably. I’ve just finished listening to the Plant Milk Review. My mind has been opened to looking more deeply into what milk our family drinks. Our house currently drinks almond milk and some cows milk. Both of which have much bigger environmental impacts than I realised. One of my goals for this year is to shift our milk consumption to include oat milk..... and if we take the least environmental (and social) impacts as possible... locally grown, organic oat milk.... and make it myself. Wish me luck :)

There are a few spare spots at a free workshop we are running at Parnell Farmers Markets this Saturday. Come along if you would like to learn how to make your own beeswax wraps.... a beautiful, more sustainable alternative to plastic wrap. Bring along a beeswax wrap that needs a refresh and we will show you how to give it a new lease of life. Be sure to register to secure your spot 🌱

We have a few places left in our rescheduled Let’s Make Beeswax Wraps workshop this Saturday 7th November.

Join Yvonne and Liz from Let's make it green who will show you how to make your own reusable beeswax food wraps - a beautiful alternative to plastic cling film. All materials will be provided.

This workshop is free and runs form 10.30-11.30am. Numbers are limited so bookings are essential! Call Olivia on 09 555 5164 to book your place.
