A Fantastic day at the Hamilton Zoo with Canion NZ and our local reseller Snapshot Photo. Had an amazing enclosure experience with the Red Panda - a solid 11 out of 10 on the cuteness scale, and unbelievably friendly (OK food helps...), had one climb up on my knee for an inquisitive sniff. Water Sculpture

The great thing about shooting in manual mode, is the ability to produce a look that a camera in automatic setting would never think of ;-)
At f/2.0 and 1/4000 sec. I can totally soften my background, and freeze the water so it really pops. I then add a little split toning and a sympathetic crop, and voila!
(Takutai Square, Britomart precinct, Auckland).
