Youth Leadership in Action at Mt Smart Stadium!
Across Terms 2 and 3, our Year 7 & 8 students headed to Mt Smart Stadium to take part in the Warriors Community Foundation’s Tupu Māia and Tama Toa festivals.
It was an incredible opportunity for our young leaders to step out of their comfort zones, connect with students from schools across the region, and put their teamwork and leadership skills straight into practice. We are so proud of the way they represented our school with pride, positivity, and high energy!
A massive thank you to the Warriors Community Foundation for putting on such an inspiring event.

We have completed our lockdown exercise and all students, staff and persons on-site are safely accounted for. Everyone did extremely well and responded to instructions. A notice will be going out to parents/caregivers tonight to provide some more information about our emergency lockdown procedures. I would like to personally thank you for your support while we conduct these practices.

🇹🇴❤️ **SIA MO‘UI TA‘OVALA SHOWCASE** ❤️🇹🇴

Yesterday, our **Sia Mo‘ui Tongan Bilingual Unit** proudly showcased the different types of "ta‘ovala" worn for different occasions as part of our Tongan Language Week celebrations.

Our students also shared beautiful Tongan songs, dances and performances, celebrating our language, culture and traditions. 🎶🇹🇴

We sent four talented contestants to represent our kura at the Rehu Tai (Manurewa Cluster) Speech Competition, and we are extremely proud to share that ALL FOUR came away with a placing! 👏🎉
