For anyone who would like to join our cool crew, we meet Wednesdays fornightly at 7am for breakfast at The Fat Oyster and the alternate fortnight at Northern Union Gastro Pub in the evening for early dinner or drinks. Our meetings have no pressure, are informal but there's real camaraderie and we give and refer work all the time. There is no organisation taking our subs so we choose to run it ourselves and use our subs for the community.

A huge thank you to BNG Group for their incredible support of Hibiscus Coast AFC 💙

We’re delighted to share that, following their recent charity fundraiser at the Northern Union Gastro Pub, BNG Group has raised over $25,000 for our club — an amazing contribution that will make a real difference across our programmes, facilities, and community initiatives.

While the event was a few weeks ago, we’ve now received all auction payments, and we’re incredibly grateful for the effort, generosity, and community spirit shown by everyone involved.

We’re also looking forward to officially receiving the cheque from BNG Group soon — a moment we’re excited to celebrate and share with our community at one of our home games.

From all of us at HBCAFC, thank you for backing our club and helping us continue to grow football on the Coast ⚽🙌

We are careful with what we support - I've done my research and we are 100% behind this.
I've never been to a protest before but I'm hoping all the community will be there to show their Coastie community spirit and the Kiwi way.

The organisers are going about this the right way - please show them respect and be respectful of the peaceful protest but strong message.

We encourage anyone who loves the NZ coastline to come and PROTEST THIS SATURDAY 10am at Army Bay boat ramp.
Our shoreline is being stripped bare and this upsets the ecosystem that marine life depends on for the food chain. This protest is to get media attention and hasten the law changes to protect our kiwi beaches. Kiwis kids grow up enjoying exploring the rockpools - make sure your grandchildren will be able to too. Join us.

PS. This is our home patch but it is happening throughout NZ!
