Shoutout to Sam & his wife Rhona

Talofa Lava & warm Pacific Greetings to all. My name is Ionatana Muelu aka Sam the mechanic. A vision and a dream to finally be able to give an honest and fair price on vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance for our Pacific Nations and beyond.

I migrated to NZ in the early 90s from my home land of Samoa to pursue an education in Christchurch and later Tertiary studies in Auckland. I have been in the automotive industry for 15 years, starting as an apprentice in Otara, to full time work in Airport Oaks, and later in Australia (Melbourne) then back to South Auckland (Botany). January this year I took the leap of faith to be self-employed running my own workshop Prov-Tech Automotive Ltd at 10C Mana Place, Manukau.

A little bit about Prov-Tech Automotive; transparency and honesty in every job big or small (faithful with the little) is our mission. Our team is made up of certified WOF technicians, NZQA certified in Automotive and Business with vast experience in the field.
Check us out www.provtechauto.com or on FB/IG.

I am also a husband and father to 3 children, my wife teaches at Rise Up Academy School in Mangere and does the administration for Prov-Tech Auto, we are both very proud to serve in our South Auckland communities and hope to see you soon!

Welcome to HUB Connect - The Pacific Business Hub Network!

It's taken us years to perfect this platform & we have finally come full circle!

The Pacific Business Hub (TPBH) has been operating for almost 4 years, however, the work started in 2012 with the establishment of the first ever Pacific business network, Samoa Business Network (SBN). SBN would become the catalyst which started the whole movement of Pacific business networks you see today. It was co-founded & led by the now CEO of TPBH.

This movement led to the establishment of the Waikato Samoa Business Network now known as Waikato Pacific Business Network, Tonga Business Network, Niue Business Network, Tuvalu Business Network & more recently the Cook Islands Business Network with more to come. The CEO of TPBH was actively involved in the establishment of these networks.

We believe this movement would have inspired the establishment of the Wellington Pasifika Business Network & the work of TPBH inspired the establishment of the Porirua Pasifika Business Hub.

It is from this 10+ years of experience that formulated the vision & guided the establishment of The Pacific Business Hub.

The ethnic specific networks, Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Tuvalu & Cooks Islands are now initiatives of The Pacific Business Hub brought together under HUB Connect - The Pacific Business Hub Network that will manage & oversee the work of the different business networks.

There is much work currently happening in the background to re-engage & revitalise all our Pacific business networks

Also as we start introducing our members.

Work is currently underway to establish individual ethnic specific business networking groups i.e. Samoa Business Network [established], Tonga Business Network [work in progress], Niue Business Network [work in progress], Fiji Business Network [work in progress] and moving on to others.

It is the hope that when all the business networks are established and operational, the leaders of each group will come to form the Pacific Business Network Alliance - a collective of all the ethnic specific business networking groups to make it an ‘authentically Pacific’ platform.
