Our Wellington studio hosted a pre-event function last week for the Wellington Property People Awards, inviting the wider team to join in the buzz and excitement of our nominated staff before the formal event.

This Movember, Catalyst are proudly supporting Men's Mental Health. We encourage donating to support a great cause, with donations starting at $20.

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

We are immensely proud to transform this Government Agency 13,000m2 head office to create a modern hybrid working environment to support them into the future.

Catalyst was engaged to provide several services including workplace strategy, design services, and acted as the Engineer to the Contract to create an innovative office space at the Asteron Centre.

Catalyst listened closely to the workplace needs and responded with future proofed solutions. By optimising spatial efficiency and accommodating the rise in remote work, they successfully reduced the office footprint from nine to five floors.

Their approach embraced the concept of a modern hybrid workplace. Catalyst achieved this by increasing the desk to person ratio, additional video conference rooms, creating touchdown areas, introducing collaborative spaces, and establishing a social hub on each floor to enhance team collaboration and connections.

With a clever use of colour and materials, we transformed the existing space into a visually striking, refreshing environment. The result is a warm, welcoming, and modern workplace that meets the needs of the Government Agencies evolving workforce.

Join us in wishing Catalyst's own Commercial Manager, Tim Rayner all the best as he heads off to the International Handball Federation - IHF Men's and Women's Beach Handball World Champions tomorrow!

Tim is New Zealand’s National Beach Handball head coach who since 2011, has played or coached a total of 41 handball games for New Zealand across 10 cities worldwide.

Played indoors or on a beach, handball is a sport where two teams pass a ball using their hands and throwing it into the other team’s goal. Sports like basketball, volleyball, and water polo are similar with handball often likened to playing water polo on land.

For Tim, competitive sport and career aspirations align closely. Whether it’s coaching the handball team or helping Catalyst grow their business opportunities, representing New Zealand has taught
him to never stop raising the bar to achieve the best outcomes for his clients and the sport of handball.

Catalyst knows that supporting people’s passions outside of the workplace is critical in creating individual and team success, and this means a great deal to Tim, who is taking advantage of
Catalyst’s Wellness and Hobby Leave programme as he heads to the world champs on Tuesday.

Greece is the first stop for the world champs and then it's onto Alabama for the World Beach Games in July.
