Good article in the NZ Herald today. Might I add that controlling the exterior breeding areas for flies will really help when it comes to fly populations coming inside your house. Oh plus a treatment!
Exterior Preparation (Strongly Recommended)
1. Dispose of or securely cover all grass clippings in a wheelie bin. (Do not mulch the grass)
2. Remove animal waste promptly—do not allow it to sit during the day.
3. Position vege gardens, composting and rubbish away from entrances, kitchens, and living areas. (preferably the opposite side of the house to these areas)
4. Clean rubbish bins and BBQs regularly to remove organic residue.
