Italian heart. Australian vision. New Zealand opportunity. 🇮🇹🇦🇺🇳🇿
After almost two years of structured market development, it is rewarding to see now formally present in Australia through the partnership withÂ
Building a premium foodservice brand in a distant market does not happen by chance. It requires product selection, certification, local positioning, technical preparation, showroom support, training, chef involvement, and a clear understanding of what hospitality operators really need.
The strategy was focused on bringing to the market Italian pizza ovens that are:
✔️ easy to understand
✔️ easy to operate
✔️ easy to support locally
✔️ well positioned for the local market
✔️ capable of lifting pizza quality beyond standard fast-production concepts
For me, Cuppone is not only about ovens. It is about helping hospitality operators move towards a better pizza experience — stone-baked, consistent, authentic and commercially sustainable.
A very important part of the work has been regionalisation. Together with Cuppone specialists, chef support and the Comcater team, we visited and supported key locations across Australia, working directly with local teams on product knowledge, technical understanding and market positioning.
This is how international brands become local: not only through distribution, but through preparation, training and trust.
A sincere thank you to Cuppone, Comcater, and everyone involved in this journey.
Australia is now entering a new phase.
New Zealand remains a very interesting and open market, where I continue to see strong opportunities for quality Italian and European foodservice equipment — especially in pizza, bakery and hospitality.
For any discussion regarding Cuppone, Italian pizza ovens, or wider foodservice opportunities in New Zealand, I am always happy to connect directly.
Proud to keep helping Italian and European brands grow across Australia and New Zealand.
