🎙️ The New Zealand Association of Voice Actors (NZAVA) officially launches on 11 June in Auckland.

As AI continues to reshape the creative industries, NZAVA has been established to advocate for, educate, and protect voice actors across Aotearoa. The launch event will bring together performers, agents, industry professionals, and political representatives to discuss how we can help safeguard our industry against the growing misuse of recorded performance through AI, voice cloning, and unauthorised digital replication.

This is an important conversation about protecting artists, ensuring fair compensation, and helping shape the future of voice performance in New Zealand.

A special shoutout to J&L voice agent Danielle King and J&L talent Amber-Rose Henshall and Romy Hooper, who all serve as core committee members of NZAVA and have played an integral role in helping bring this important initiative to life.
