There may be some questions asked how the New Zealand title is going to work this weekend? Well this is how:

Based on the numbers entered, there will be 3 groups of 5 cars & 3 groups with 6 cars, totalling the entry count of 33.

In every race, drivers will race with their own group and one other group, meaning there will be anywhere between 10 to 12 cars in one single heat race. The alternative group will change each race, meaning drivers will race approximately 22 of the 32 other entered cars.

In a standard two night event, each driver would race everyone but due to the change to one night, this is the other alternative used at previous season’s NZ midget titles.

After each driver has completed their 3 x 12 lap qualifying heats, the top 1️⃣8️⃣ will make it directly to the feature. The remaining 1️⃣5️⃣ cars will go to a 12 lap last chance B main with the top 6 transferring to the feature event.

The feature is 2️⃣4️⃣ cars over 2️⃣5️⃣ laps, with the top three becoming 1NZ, 2NZ & 3NZ.

Who is everyones pick for 1NZ , 2NZ & 3NZ? And who is your ‘dark horse’ pick 🤔
