How long does it really take to set up a TIWAL and trolley?

When I'm pulling a sailing dinghy and trolley out from the back of the car I always get a few questions and the most common one is 'how long does it take?'

I have had a bit of practice and it takes me 20 minutes to set up at a relaxed pace, so allow 30mins for your easy setup.

A few tips:
- The high pressure pump with battery makes set up hassle free
- The parts are colour coded for port and starboard side
- Easy click in place parts

Just roll out the TIWAL on the trolley attach the pump and assemble the parts.

- The TIWAL 3 is great for handling a stiff breeze and a steep chop encountered in more open water.
- The TIWAL 3 has an aluminium Exoskeleton which offers better stability when hiking out.
- The TIWAL 3 is easy to sail, responsive to puffs and very quick

Have you always wanted to get back into sailing?

Getting back into sailing after a long break can be a little daunting. But within a few moments of being on the water you will get the feel of it again and a sense of freedom and exhilaration will be yours.

One of the hardest skills to master is leaving when the wind is blowing onshore. Many a sailing day has been cancelled when boats can't leave the beach because of awkward sized waves. The most important thing is to have centreboard part down and mainsheet ready to pull in and plenty of power to get over the waves.

Really want to get amongst the waves, but have a surf beach to launch from?

We don't always get it right the first time so play it safe!

⛵️Find a spot on the beach where there is a smaller shore break and launch from there.
⛵️Hold the bow at an angle to the waves.
⛵️Stand with your back to the wind (upwind of the boat so the boat doesn't run you over!)
⛵️ Ask someone to hold the bow while you set up and pull the mainsail in.
