We are on the look out for a motivated and dedicated Senior Technician to join our team. The purpose of this role is to provide on-site technical product support with Tier 2 technical product customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain computer systems, hardware, software and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications
- Provide intermediate to advanced technical product training and basic user functionality training to customer base when required in both mac and windows based systems and Windows, Mac or NAS servers.
- Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
- Maintain and update ticketing system on daily basis for reporting and time management
- Clear and concise phone manner
- Fluent spoken english

- Advanced desktop and general server support
- Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
Key Competencies and Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT
- Must have experience with Windows and Apple, as well as server/network administration and TCI/IP protocols
- Intermediate - Advanced networking configuration knowledge
- Easy to perform technical troubleshooting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Exceptional time and workload management skills
- Friendly, approachable, with flexible and positive attitude
- Willing to learn new skills and undertake new assignments
- Willing to participate in other roles incase of need by the organisation
- Willing to attend internal and external training as necessary to keep up to date with the latest
technology and internal system processes
