Auckland Transport is introducing low cost, practical changes to ease congestion at the Hugh Green Drive and Greville Road intersection.

These upgrades include:
🟢A weekday clearway from 3–6pm
🟢 An extended left turn lane
🟢 Updated road markings
🟢 Minor layout adjustments

The aim is to improve travel reliability and reduce delays during busy afternoon periods.

🤝 Networking, connections and making a difference at cbm

Our latest Networking and Nibbles brought Business North Harbour members together at the cbm offices in Rosedale for an evening of great conversations, drinks, nibbles and plenty of new connections.

A big thank you to Murray Sheard, CEO of cbm (Christian Blind Mission), who shared insight into cbm’s international work supporting people living with disabilities, including its current response to flooding in Nepal.

We also heard from Katie Noble of Allied Medical about the incredible collaborative work Allied Medical and cbm are doing to get disability equipment into Pacific communities.

There were also quick-fire 60-second introductions from Manenji Chidyamakono an MBA Student from Massey Business School, Alicia Sturt from I T Live Limited and Faith Gale from Vanguard Military School, giving members another chance to showcase what they do.

And a big congratulations to Madeline Luke, who won the fantastic prize of a night away at the Sunrise Garden Suites Penthouse Suite! Enjoy your night off!

🏉Lessons in Leadership, Values & the Power of Sport

What a morning we had at our Men at Breakfast event on Tuesday!

We were privileged to hear from rugby league legend Sir Graham Lowe, who shared stories from his remarkable career alongside some powerful lessons about leadership, resilience, authenticity and the importance of old-fashioned values.

From the influence coaches can have on young people to the importance of adapting when things aren’t working, Sir Graham’s message went well beyond the sporting field.

His reminder to “be yourself”, look after people, keep your word and never underestimate the power of saying thank you was a great takeaway for everyone in the room.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to Turner Hopkins Law for sponsoring the event, and of course to Sir Graham Lowe for such an inspiring and entertaining morning.
