I’m currently helping recruit a Manufacturing Technician for Dodson Group in Wairau Valley, and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a good practical foundation who wants to build a career in a premium automotive manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ mechanically minded and comfortable using tools
✅ experienced in automotive, workshops, assembly, fabrication, machine operation, tyre fitting, manufacturing or another practical trade environment
✅ able to follow production processes, instructions and safety requirements
✅ accurate, detail-focused and takes pride in getting things right
✅ comfortable with hands-on and sometimes repetitive production work
✅ willing to learn machine setup, measuring equipment, basic servicing and troubleshooting
✅ reliable, punctual and consistent
✅ a positive team player
✅ ideally genuinely interested in cars, motorsport, mechanical work or engineering

The role involves helping manufacture precision automotive components, operating and monitoring machinery, inspecting finished parts, assisting with basic machine servicing and supporting assembly and production work.

Wairau Valley, North Shore
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
42.5 hours per week
🇳🇿 Full NZ work rights required
