From Monday 27 July, we'll be enforcing the T2 lane on State Highway 16 The Strand in the city centre.

A T2 lane, sometimes known as a carpool lane, is a restricted lane reserved during peak times for vehicles with a driver and one or more passengers. It's also used for heavy vehicles.

These lanes help keep goods moving and reduce congestion for everyone travelling.

If you need to turn left or enter a driveway, you can use the lane for up to 50 metres. Make sure you use the minimum distance needed and give way to vehicles allowed in the lane.

The infringement is a $150 fine, and Auckland Transport will enforce this on our behalf.

PBA was invited by Auckland Curling to have a go at this amazing sport. It is fully accessible and can be played by people of all abilities. We had a great time and thoroughly recommend you go along and check out this great facility, handily located in Penrose.

Church Street Garden Central proved to be the perfect venue for our networking breakfast this week. Surrounded by greenery and the relaxing sound of a tinkling water feature, it created such a lovely atmosphere for connecting with fellow local businesses.

Our guest speaker, Melanie Barr from AUT, shared how AUT’s student internship programme can help businesses access fresh ideas and emerging talent, while giving students valuable real-world experience as they begin their careers. A real win-win for everyone involved.

A big thank you to Mark and Tania at Garden Central for hosting us in such a beautiful setting, and to Robert Plas from Coffee Trendz for generously sponsoring the coffee.

Thanks to everyone who came along. It was fantastic to catch up and see such a great turnout.
