Setting up on hard surfaces is annoying when trying to keep the panels straight and deploy the back rests.
I have made clips to keep the joints straight and also protect the edges,this makes setting up much easier.

🏕️ How much power do you actually need for camping in NZ?

A phone and a few lights are easy. But once you add a 12V fridge, fan, laptop, CPAP or Starlink, your power needs can increase quickly.

🔋As a rough starting point:
• 200–300Wh — basic overnight camping
• 400–800Wh — weekend essentials
• 800–1,500Wh — fridge, lights, fan & CPAP
• 1,500Wh+ — longer off-grid trips & higher-power appliances

The tricky part is that Wh capacity isn't the only thing to consider — you also need to look at power output, daily energy use, trip length and how you'll recharge.
