A special moment at Kauika Road, Whangārei.
Loveridge Construction were honoured to join Phoenix Property Advisory and mana whenua, Te Paraewhau, for the Māori blessing of the largest Kāinga Ora project in Northland.
This project will deliver 95 new units, alongside a dedicated community space designed to bring people together.
During the blessing, Te Paraewhau named the community room 'Te Whare Āwhina', which translates to “the house of assistance/support”.
It is a name that beautifully reflects the purpose of the space - a place for connection, care, and community.
We are proud to be part of a project built on strong relationships between Loveridge Construction, Phoenix Property Advisory, Kāinga Ora, and Te Paraewhau, and to help deliver spaces that will support the people and whānau who call this community home.
