Reno Recyclers

03/10/2026

This shower set is getting a second spray at life. 🚿♻️

Cleaned up and looking almost new, it’s off to help fix someone else’s shower without the brand-new price tag.

A little recycling, a little refreshing and nothing goes down the drain. 😄

These laundry taps are off to keep working! 🚰

Tapped out of one reno & on to a new home project!🛠

Because perfectly good fittings don’t need to go down the drain.

Just keep them in the flow. 😄

Get ready for the puns!!

Skip to the loo… and leave the lights on! 💡🧻😂

These fabulous 1970s lights have officially been saved from a dim future in the skip and are now Waiheke-bound to shine again in a pub restoration. 🍻✨

Talk about a light-bulb moment — one person’s rubbish is another pub’s bright idea.

And because no retro rescue is complete without a little toilet humour… the vintage loo roll holder is along for the ride too.

They’ve seen the light.
They’re raising the bar.
And frankly, they’re on a roll. 😂

Post up your puns! 😂

Today On The Road we popped into the Epsom reno - I picked up a car load for recycling our builder had put aside-

Laundry tub
Sink
Taps
Wall unit

The 60's lights I carefully removed. Don't make them like that anymore.😍

Rescued from a house being demolished after fire damaged

We reckoned dishwashers are water proof...and it was protected from the water
Pouring from the top floor by the stone bench top. 😀

So one of the house demo guys is taking it home to keep the dishes clean for a bit longer!
