Harvest 2026 delivered some clean and flavoursome fruit we were excited to pick!

The growing season started with earlier than normal budburst and a warm start. The weather round flowering was good and overall, the season delivered a lower than average yield which is reflected in the increased concentration of flavour in the wines.

Our final artist in the PINK People’s Choice Award is our 2025 award winner, returning from Byron Bay — The Space Cowboy! ✨

The Space Cowboy is a multifaceted artist, internationally renowned for both his visual art and his record-breaking stunts. His use of augmented reality takes his work to new dimensions, blurring the boundaries between reality and surrealism.

We can’t wait to see The Space Cowboy’s award piece in person tomorrow evening! And don’t forget — on Saturday evening, for the first time ever in Christchurch, The Space Cowboy will deliver a spectacular act never before seen at our event. Be there at 6pm — you don’t want to miss this!

Our next PINK People’s Choice Award artist is Tuatapere-based artist Wayne Edgerton!

Wayne is known throughout New Zealand and the world for his landscapes. His deep understanding and intimate knowledge of Fiordland’s mountains give him a unique edge when it comes to recreating them on canvas. Having spent his life living near and within Fiordland, his paintings do justice to the grandeur and majesty of this wilderness.
