Our Section 94 is a unique expression of Sauvignon Blanc - richer, more textural and complex, yet still defined by the freshness and acidity synonymous with the variety.

In a recent review, Jeni Port for Winepilot described the 2021 vintage as “riveting stuff”, awarding it an impressive 96 points.

➡️ "A towering wine deeply rich in flavour that sends an important message about the grape. Don’t ever write Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc off – it can be so, so much more. A deep, rich scent filled with jasmine, apple blossom, notes of asparagus, wild herbs and ginger. There is an equally deep flavour, quite idiosyncratic and intense. It rolls and rolls over the tongue, almost syrupy in texture, with an added wildness of herbs, ginger and citrus. Finishes on a note of lemon pastille. Riveting stuff." 96 points.

Next week marks the beginning of spring, and we’ve already been enjoying a few signs of the changing season with warmer days, lighter mornings and longer evenings.

Spring is always an exciting time in the vineyard as the vines begin to wake from their winter dormancy and a new growing season gets underway.

It’s also our cue to move these guys on before the new buds emerge and they start helping themselves to the new season's growth! 🐑

Happy International Pinot Noir Day! 🍷

We're big fans of Pinot Noir, and it seems James Suckling is too. He awarded our current-release Pinot Noir an impressive 96 points, describing it as:

"A soft and juicy Pinot Noir with aromas of dried strawberries, crab apples and hints of meat, cocoa powder and oranges. Medium-bodied, crunchy and dusty."

Our Sauvignon Blancs performed exceptionally well in Decanter's recent blind tasting of over 160 Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand.

Our 2021 Section 94 received an outstanding 95 points, while our latest release 2025 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded an impressive 92 points.

Bittersweet, spiced with juicy apricots and a tingling fresh burst of citrus. Smoky, flinty, gorgeous and lingers an age. Classy. 95 points.

Mineral and flinty, brings prickly pear, lime and grapefruit aromas. Yellow peach, jasmine tea and herb notes add texture and generosity, finishing clean, bright and modern. 92 points.

"It's a showstopper" is how our Sauvignon Blanc was described in a recent Decanter article titled 'Five wines to sip this summer,' as recommended by Manhatta wine director Sydney Fusto.

Sydney holds the prestigious Wine Director position at Manhatta, a contemporary dining experience on the 60th floor in the heart of New York City, and is a lover of Sauvignon Blanc, especially when sipped with citrus, cilantro, or anything with a hint of spice.
