We are humbled and excited to share that Hortus has been recognised as NZ RSE Employer of the Year for 2026.

Proudly accepted here by Aaron, Mike and Tahu at this week’s national HortNZ Conference, on behalf of our amazing and hard-working team. This award is dedicated to everyone at Hortus who consistently show up for our people with genuine care, and live by our MAP values every day.

A special acknowledgement to all our RSE team and their families (past and present). This award has been received as a direct result of your incredible efforts and contribution to Hortus over the years.

Last month, we headed to the Future of Work event in Marlborough, alongside Ukko, to chat with young people about the career opportunities waiting for them across the horticulture and viticulture industries.

It was awesome to see so many young people engaged, asking questions, and exploring what's possible for their future.

A big thanks to the crew behind this event and to everyone who stopped by for a chat. We loved meeting you and hope to see some of you out in the industry soon.
